July 3 - Teslin River to Dease Lake

The ride from Teslin River down to Waston Lake was again a bit of back tracking so no pics. Once in Watson Lake we picked up the Cassaire hiway which is in nowhere BC. The gas stops listed are 150 to 200 miles apart that is if there not closed! Stopped for the night at Dease Lake which was a huge lake with only one campground. Meet up again with Mike who we meet at the Arctic Circle days ago. Tomorrow we will ride down to Meziadin Lake to camp and take the 35 mile ride over to Hyder AK the town furtherest south in Alaska reachable by rode.

July 2 - Burwash Landing to Teslin River

Left camp this morning and headed down to Haines. Ride ride was beautiful. Maybe not quite as good as Valdez but a great road through the mountains. Ate lunch in Haines then took the car ferry over to Skagway where we saw lots of waterfalls from the boat. Once in Skagway just browsed around the town and then left for Teslin River. Climbed up to 3,000 feet from Skagway where there were many mountain lakes formed by snow only. One lake shore ran for 30 miles and was the color of the Gulf.

Big Hi to Ron and Miranda

July 1 - Glennallen to Burwash Landing

Back track ride today from Glennallen AK back into the Yukon to Burwash Landing a fishing resort and campground on Kalune lake. Cool and 20mph winds all day and at camp. Took no pics as had traveled this pat last week

June 30 - Glennallen to Valdez

Beautiful ride down to Valdez and back. Weather was mostly sunny except the ass which was fogged in. Had a great lunch on the water at The Mermaid. Rick and I both agreed that today was the best scenery yet. Again cannot post pics as wifi sucks in this campground.

June 29 - Fairbanks to Glennallen

Left Fairbanks this am for Glennallen. Weather was nice but soon turned to cool and drizzle to again turn warm and partly cloudy. The Richardson hiway from Delta Junction to Glennallen is absolutely the best. Mountains on the left and right and streams and lakes everywhere. Wifi was just fixed so maybe some pics tonight!

June 28 - Arctic Circle

Left Fairbanks at 7am headed up the Dalton highway to the Arctic Circle. Stopped for gas at the Yukon river bridge and a large breakfast then proceeded to the circle 70 miles north. The road going ip only had 2 construction stops but was mostly dirt with some gravel...very bumpy but made 45-50 the whole way. Hung around the circle for approx onehour and   then beaded back to fairbanks. All together spent 12.6 hours there and back. Too tired to post pics but promise I will tomorrow night.

Big Shout Out to Bob and the gang from Knoxville

June 27 - Denali to Fairbanks

Uneventful ride up to Fairbanks today except 30 miles out wildfire had road blocked all last night but after waiting 45 minutes they lead us through. Finally saw a moose today but before I got the camera on she was back in the woods. Temp in Fairbanks today was 88 but the camp we choose is shaded and by a river. Sorry no pictures but todays ride was not even close to being pretty. We will head out in the morning for the Arctic Circle which is 340 miles round trip 140 miles of gravel. Should make for some interesting pictures of the Alaska pipeline and arctic tundra plus of coarse the awesome Arctic Circle sign.

Wish us luck!
