June 28 - Arctic Circle
Left Fairbanks at 7am headed up the Dalton highway to the Arctic Circle. Stopped for gas at the Yukon river bridge and a large breakfast then proceeded to the circle 70 miles north. The road going ip only had 2 construction stops but was mostly dirt with some gravel...very bumpy but made 45-50 the whole way. Hung around the circle for approx onehour and then beaded back to fairbanks. All together spent 12.6 hours there and back. Too tired to post pics but promise I will tomorrow night.

ReplyDeleteI've been following you guys and felt sure the weather would allow you guys a shot at the Artic Cirle...glad you made it! I just bought my bushtec for an Alaska trip next year. Say safe and all the best from Knoxville!
