Started the day clear but 46 degrees for the run up to Teslin River Yukon. Starting to see some wildlife mainly buffalo, black bear and 1 brown bear. The grass and flowers along the road are so plentiful that they are all feeding on the road sides. No danger here as they could care less that we are around just care about getting fat. Road is starting to get rough with frost heaves and pot holes everywhere. Construction zones are also starting to appear where we have to stop and wait for the pilot car to lead us through the mud and gravel sections. Not as bad as I believed it to be but still not fun. Ended up short of the campground we were headed for but good thing as the one I picked 30 miles up the road was closed. Right before the Teslin River we crossed a grated bridge where the sign said rough. Rick is still talking about it as the worst he has ever ridden. I have not told him yet but we will have to cross it again on the way home!
