July 6 - Prince George to Jasper National Park

The ride today from Prince George to Jasper was mostly just highway miles until we arrived at Mt Robson Park where the snow covered mountains appeared along with several beautiful lakes and streams. Our next stop was the town of Jasper where the Ice Fields Parkway begins. Jasper is a neat little town but very expensive to eat and stay so we journeyed south 8 miles to Whistlers campground for the night.

July 4 - Dease Lake to Meziadin Lake

Great ride down 37 to Mediazin Lake and park today. Arrived early so took the ride over to Stewart and Hyder to see Bear Glacier and ride to the southern most city in Alaska. Hyder was quite the town filled with people off the beaten track from all sorts of places like Australia. Had a great meal of fried Haddock there and then made the 35 mile trip back to Mediazin Lake for the night.

July 5 - Mediazin Lake to Prince George

The ride from Mediazin Lake to Prince George was mostly boring roads with half a days hard cold rain. By the time we reached the campground it had stopped raining and the sun was out so we camped as usual to save on motel bills. But tomorrow promises to be great as we ride into Jasper Banff National Parks.
